Catch the flavours of India this summer!

The New Year's Test against India brings exciting competition and exciting new flavours to the SCG. 

Merivale chefs have created an authentic, bespoke menu inspired by this year's opponents, blending classic flavours with a stadium flair. 

The lamb curry pie or Masala seasoned chips, for example, can be enjoyed with a frozen mango lassi to cool down during those hot summer days synonymous with Test cricket. 

Attendees can also expect to see other items like samosa chaat and vada pav, a deep-fried potato fritter served in a soft bun with tamarind and mint chutney. The revered outlet, The Tikka Shop, will continue to offer fan-favourite chicken kathi rolls and paneer bowls.
