This Saturday the Sydney Swans and Redkite will celebrate 23 years of partnership with the annual Redkite Day at the SCG and this year much-loved Australian children's group The Wiggles will be special guests.

The Wiggles were welcomed visitors to Swans training on Tuesday as they look ahead to performing at half-time at the SCG as part of Redkite Day, which will raise funds for children with cancer and their families.

Another guest at training on Tuesday morning was little Louis Stephen from the Central Coast, who was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma in July 2019 when he was just five years old.
Throughout his cancer journey, Redkite have been of great assistance to Louis and his family.

The family attended Redkite Day last year and Louis has since started playing AFL on the Central Coast and kicked his first goal last week for the Saratoga Hawks. He wears #11, the same number as Swans forward and Redkite ambassador, Tom Papley who he met on Tuesday. Papley will play his 150th AFL game on Saturday.

Please see content below for media use including vision of The Wiggles and Louis at training with the team as well as interviews with Red Wiggle and Swans Ambassador Simon Pryce, Redkite CEO Monique Keighery, Louis’ mother Mahala Rae and Sydney Swans player and Redkite ambassador Tom Papley.
